The Department of Crop Physiology, Agricultural College, Rajamahendravarm was constituted in 2008. The department is offering four UG courses.

Research Credentials of the staff, in brief,
- Dr. Chavan Syamraj Naik has published 15 Research papers, 10 Conference papers, one book, and 20 popular articles in various national and international periodicals and publications.
Teaching
Laboratory manuals were prepared for three UG courses.
Audiovisual aids and multimedia systems were introduced to inculcate interest and inquisitiveness in the principles and application of plant physiological processes.
